Parking in Provence town (Cotignac)

We will be staying in Cotignac, Provence, for a few nights, attending a pandemic-delayed wedding ceremony at the Chateau de Robernier. We'll have a rental car. Our targeted hotel (Hotel La Falaise) does not have on-site parking, but there appears to be ample public parking nearby.

Question: we will be returning to the hotel late at night after the wedding. Will we find available space in the public lots in the wee hours? We'll be tired perhaps tipsy and won't want to drive around looking for spots.

If you're tired and tipsy you shouldn't be driving in the first place.

Yes, of course. My husband doesn't drink, so he will service as designated driver. Pity, since he will not partake of Provencal wines!

The DUI threshold in France is lower than in the USA. Drink more than 6-8 oz. of wine and you might well be above it. Be careful about that! Tiredness is less of an issue; we are talking about a 5-mile drive here.
EDIT - I was typing as you were replying to Badger's comment :-)

Parking is plentiful in Cotignac, there is indeed a large lot by the tennis courts, and some street parking on Cours Gambetta.
You are in for a treat: Cotignac is a gem of a village, one of my faves in the whole of Provence. If you want to rest and relax after the wedding: go to the Vallon Sourn and chill on the river beach. You can safely wade in the river.
