Parking in Isle sur la Sorgue

Staying for 6 nights in March. Hotel I am looking at offers covered parking for 25 e/day, but I am wondering if there are cheaper, self-park options. Thanks!

Is that generally easy / available / legal? Where should car be left the night before a market day?

We spent a week in L'Isle/Sorgue in early May 2016. We parked in a free public lot on the north side of the central area, on the west side of Cours du Portalet. It's a large, horseshoe parking area, only a few steps outside the 'tourist' area. (The GoogleEarth aerial view via GoogleMaps provides a good look. I'd guess 150+ cars fit.) Only once, on Thursday market day as I recall, did we have to wait for a parking spot to open up...and that was only for a few minutes. We followed all the standard advice about leaving no valuables in the car, etc., and experienced no problems. Nor did we observe any evidence of break-ins, as broken glass on the ground, etc. There may be other parking lots adjacent to the old town, but this was close to our apartment. I think the E25 can be better spent elsewhere. (We were parked in this lot on our only Saturday night, before the terrific Sunday market. Finding a place after dawn on a Sunday would probably be a challenge.) Finally, the streets in the central area are very narrow and difficult to navigate under the best of circumstances. Good luck, you're sure to have a great time. Feel free to send a private message if you have other questions.

We stay at the Nevons also.It has free parking if you stay there. It is not fancy, but the rooms with balconies facing a little park are huge and very clean. We always go to the market on Sunday and often it is hard to park. We leave our car at the hotel and walk all over.
