Just wondering if folks had any suggestions as to where is the best place to park? I want to avoid driving into the city center.
This may help you find parking. The "Center" and SNCF station locations look closest to the tourist area.
We used google maps that directed us to an above ground parking garage near the market. Looking at the map today I think it must have been the Parking du Centre just south of the market area. It was not difficult to drive into there. We arrived from the east but google maps took us around the most crowded part of the city and over to the garage.
You will find in the link below (the city of Arles website) all the parking possibilities with their prices:

I'll be driving to Arles next week, and was wondering the same. Rick Steve's guide recommends to avoid driving in the historic center (enter on foot after stowing cart at Arles only parking garage – Parking des Lice, located near the TI on Boulevard des Lices). Thats what I was planning on doing.
