Parisian tourist

Has anyone ever used a private guide to assist with touring Paris? If so, would you please share some of your experience, especially if you think it was a worthwhile strategy. Thanks....................Darlene

Not sure what you are asking. We have used many private guides, including Paris, to give us private tours over many years. Always prefer a live person to ask questions and get real time answers. In some locations we have hired taxi drivers/tour guides to cover a greater area. They can be more expensive but it is so nice to have a live person to show you around.

I have used Florent Cardinaux many times. He was Paris born, and knows his city very well. He does museum tours, and well as food tours, and city tours. His FB page is Pariswithflo. I highly recommend him. He also does virtual tours on Together Virtually, https://togethervirtually.com

Is it your first visit to Paris? What do you visualize the guide showing you? Museums? Neighborhoods? Special focus - WWII, French Revolution, Roman Paris??

I have done the Rick Steves Best of Paris tour so had wonderful Rolinka touring us around but have also done a private Paris Walks tour to see one of their walking itineraries that was not being offered during my stay there.
