Paris Attitudes apartment rental company

We are considering renting a short term monthly rental from Paris attitudes apartment rental company. Has anyone had any experience with them?

I used them in 2010 to rent two apts and was very happy with them.

Years ago and I mean years ago like in 2012 and 2013, I used them. One apartment was perfect and one was horrible. I found that as a broker (or at least that is what they were when I dealt with them), they had no control over the apartment and could not get the owner to repair the problems and they had nothing similar to offer and they sort of just threw their hand up. The good news is that after I bailed on the apartment, I got my money back from them pretty easily. I learned that Paris Attitude is basically a match-maker between you and the person renting out the apartment. Whether or not your experience will be good depends entirely on whether the owner cares at all about you or their property. There really is nothing that they can do if, for example, the owner is out of the country and has not left them with an alternative contact who can authorize or make repairs (don't ask how I now that -- LOL!).

Based on what I’ve read on TripAdvisor and other platforms, they are known for having an attitude. The attitude is not that the customer is right.

I have no experience with that company but have had very good experiences with VacationInParis.. They are also a go-between company in that they do not own all the apartments they list, but they are very hands-on. Their staff visits/stays in various apartments and so have first hand knowledge of conditions. They have steered us away from apartments in the past as well as suggesting apartments that will better meet our wants and needs.
Our experience with them has been very good for many years, up to and including last year.

For my travels any comments/site info/recommendations more than 1-2 years old I review but take with a grain of salt. I attempted to use them for 2 month long stays in Paris. Loved the properties on line, it was the procedure that put me off.

You inquire about a property, it does not necessarily have to be available even though it says it is available. They contact the owner who has 24 hours to get back to you. The owners of the properties I was interested in where out of the country, out of town, busy, etc, etc, etc. So you are waiting 24 hours, the US/France time difference is in play and meanwhile time is ticking by. None of the apts I wanted ended up being available. That's why I love and always use booking.com.
