Paris with grandkids

I will be in Paris four days with 4 grandkids (ages 11-13). Our main purpose is soccer (we have our PSG tickets). Is a meal in the Eiffel Tower a good idea? If yes, which cafe? Grandkids also want to take a macaron cooking class. I remember seeing one in a department store not far from Notre Dame but can't remember store name. Other thoughts? Two of my grandkids have been to Paris before. Merci

thank you. Do you think kids would enjoy the Eiffel Tower eating experience or a waste of $$? I can't imagine my grandkids sitting for a couple hours over fancy food. That was all I could find.

I believe that children 11 to 13 are too young for Jules Verne, but they might enjoy Brasserie Madame. I shouldn’t think any restaurant not having tablecloths qualifies as fancy at all. Taking a look at the menu might offer more insight.

My 12 and 14 year old requested and enjoyed the Eiffel Tower for the views. We just bought macarons at the snack bar and sat and enjoyed those rather than eating a meal there.

When we took our granddaughter this age we didn't want to spend huge amounts on meals as she is not a big eater. We mostly cooked in but we took her to the Bouillon Chartier in Montparnasse which has a spectacular room and huge menu of French classics. And it is very cheap. Food ok -- I assume mostly industrial. She tried snails there but they have plenty of less adventuresome choices. Highly recommend for a large family. People can order whatever they want; try to new things and have a gorgeous room for budget prices. The Bouillon Pigalle in Montmartre had a similar menu but a bit better food but the room is plain.
