Paris with a Teenager

I will be in Paris for 4 days and am looking for a nice place to dine with my 14 year old. My child will generally eat most anything, however, when I'm looking at menus, there's a lot of elevated cuisine (duck, lamb, etc) that I don't think would be a hit. We'll be staying near the Eiffel Tower and I would generally like to avoid tourist traps. I am also looking for places near the Louvre and the Palace of Versailles.

All recommendations, dining or otherwise, are appreciated.

My 12yoa son and I enjoyed https://bustronome.com/en/paris/, which is a double-decker bus that drives around (slowly) to some major sites while you are served a very nice meal (it's not earth-shattering, but it's good). Departs from Arc de Triomphe. It's not cheap, and it's not for everyone.

Our experience was every restaurant in Paris will have some variation of a roasted chicken on the menu.

Duck confit is in the same experience zone as roast chicken -- he might love that.

Consider the Chartier Bouillons. The one in Montparnasse has an amazing room; the one in grand boulevards is classic old fashioned French bistrot. Huge menu so everyone can find something; cheap; food is industrial but then so is much of what is served in Paris cafes, bistrots etc -- if there is a big menu, definitely what is being served. It is 'fine' if not gourmet.

An easy walk from the Eiffel Tower along the r. de la Motte Piquet brings you to the Auberge Bressane, which will certainly have a chicken option on the menu. You should reserve at any place you want to dine, although not necessary at cafés.

I noticed a lot of teens in Italian eateries -- of which there are plenty -- in Paris. Also, teens generally love pizza, and there are a lot of pizzerias in Paris. I dined at the Cafe di Roma on the Champs-Élysées. The French take on pizza features ultra thin crust, which I found appealing, and unique toppings.

the Auberge Bresssane reference reminds me that we went there because they have souffes and had excellent dessert souffle but the most amazing dessert souffle is at Chez Dumonet Josephine. It also has a fabulous boeuf bourguignon, an excellent duck confit, steak firttes etc. but any teen would be impressed with that grand marnier souffle.

Be sure to book Eternelle Notre Dame, the VR experience underground at Notre Dame. It is wonderful.
