I was recently in Paris and took the water taxi (Batobus). My mom and I both loved it. It's "hop-on, hop-off" and only costs 20 euro roundtrip. It goes to the Louvre, to the Musee d'Orsay and to Notre-Dame de Paris. You can get off and hop back on at your leisure. Just make sure you're back in time for the last boat. It's a great way to see Paris from the water without breaking the bank.
There is something special about seeing Paris from a boat. A few years back, we used Batobus as our hop-on-hop-off vehicle with very enjoyable experiences.
I also loved the Batobus. Great way to see the city!
Yes, the batobus can be a fun way to get around. A hop on/hop off boat that keeps you above ground and out of traffic. There are plenty of stops on both sides of the river. If you don’t make the final boat back to your destination there are other transportation options, so don’t sweat it.
Are they air conditioned now? We took one once in the summer and it was like a hothouse in there... We got off at the next stop because the heat and humidity were overwhelming ..... And I live in Atlanta so I have a high heat/humidity tolerance
