Paris/ Versailles/ Normandy

Next May will have 3 days to spend in Paris after the end of the RS tour.
Will have Saturday, Sunday & Monday before leaving on Tuesday.
Want to see Versailles ( and from what I have read, it pretty much is an all day activity) and a day trip to Normandy and use the 'other' day to see Paris sites not covered in the RS tour.

Adding days, sadly, is not an option. --- Understand Normandy as a day trip is a long day trip, but its what we have.
(Any suggestion on a Normandy day trip tour provider?)

Appreciate thoughts/insights on which day to do what for best use of time.

Thanks

I'm sorry you only gave a day for Normandy, but if the D-Day sites are your priority, you might contact Overlord Tours about its full-day tours departing from the Caen railroad station. You would take a train from Paris to Caen to meet up with the tour. I believe that would mean less transportation time than if you took a bus tour all the way from Paris.

Most of Overlord's tours depart from Bayeux, and the full-day Bayeux departures don't work for travelers staying in Paris. I have no idea how often the Caen tours are operated. I believe all tour departures are subject to minimum-booking requirements.

We did 2 full day tours from Bayeux ( one day to the D-Day beaches and cemeteries , second day to Mont St. Michel)
We LOVED both days.
We booked through Viators - they are consolidator - so they put us on Overlord tours for each of these 2 full day tours. They were perfect.
