Paris trip to Louvre at Carrousel du Louvre entrance

I'll be in Paris from March 16 to March 20. Two questions:

  1. Can I enter the mall underground to get to the Carrousel du Louvre entrance WITHOUT GOING ABOVE GROUND from the Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre metro stop?

  2. Will I be able to use my Paris Museum Pass with timed enter at this entrance?

I saw a couple of older posts from years back but since I am going with my daughter and granddaughter, I like to be certain about some things and this is one.

2. Maybe. This seems to change periodically the last time I was there the answer is no, but that doesn’t mean it will still be no when you are there.

And I have no idea why this font is so big
