If the 13th is your arrival day after a long flight, it would be best not book any planned activity, both in case of delays and because you’re likely to be tired an jetlagged. Much better to wander around on your own outdoors until bedtime.

To me doing the Louvre and Orsay on the same day is too much. It looks like you are planning for this to be guided but I'd still say too much! Since you have open days, I'd probably do the Louvre on Friday and the Orsay on Saturday. They are easy enough to do on your own although I've done several guided tours in the Louvre which is huge and easy to get lost in. The Louvre does offer guided tours and there are also some thru Paris Walks (www.paris-walks.com). The Orsay is an old train station and my biggest suggestion is after you enter and pick up a map of the museum to head straight back to the hidden escalators at the back of the building. Veer to the left as you get back thru the ground floor sculpture hall.

I know many like the Seine Cruises. Although I've never done one, many recommend just doing a cruise and eating elsewhere as the food may be better in a restaurant. Or if you want sunset....eat first then book a cruise for sunset based on times from www.sunrisesunset.com In April you may encounter some rain so I'd only want to do the boat if it were a pleasant evening.

With all your bookings I hope you are going to book directly with the companies that provide the tours. Many use Viator but it's a 3rd party consolidator owned by Trip Advisor and does not actually run the tours themselves. Viator charges the tour company between 20 and 25% of the tour fee for booking which is tough for the smaller companies. You can find out the name of the actual company on the Viator booking site and check out booking directly.

It sounds like you will have a wonderful time in Paris. I hope you will give yourselves some time to walk around and enjoy as currently the plan looks a little overscheduled.

Everything you have listed is worth seeing but it's a lot to do on a first visit. Rick says assume you will return!

Editing to add: Well...in re-reading your OP it looks like you've already booked these things? If so they'll work fine, just know you can bail on any arrangements you put in to place even if you can't get your money back.

Thank you both for your advice. I know we are trying to cram a lot in a few days.

Does anyone else have advice on the tours? I booked through Trip Advisor.

Anyone recommend a guided tour of the city? Or a guide for a private tour?

Do you have to go to the D-Day beaches this time around?
Day tours from Paris are feasible, but round-trip transportation is about 6-7 hours total. It will make for a very long day, especially since you'll have endured the tour of Versailles + Giverny the previous day, which is already a lot.

If you really want to do it, you can, but setting aside more time in Paris itself would be nicer, in my opinion. But then, I do not have much of a personal connection to the D-Day beaches.
