Paris train stations

Hello. We're taking the train from Lyon to Bayeux. We arrive at the station, Paris Gare Lyon and depart from Paris St. Lazare. We have an hour between or arrival and departure. Since our connection requires changing stations, are any of you familiar with this switch? Is it relatively simple and straightforward, or is there anything quirky or funky about it that we should prepare for? Thanks in advance.

They are two different train stations, over 3 miles apart. You can take a taxi to get from one to the other, about 20 minutes, or take the Metro, line 14, about 10 minutes plus a few minutes walking on each side. 1 hour should be plenty of time. If you are two adults easily able to carry their bags and no mobility concerns, I'd take the Metro. For larger groups with luggage, kids, or issues walking, a taxi would be easier.

Metro Line 14 will take you from Gare de Lyon to Saint-Lazare (use the Saint-Lazare direction).

The No 14 is the newest Paris Metro line. All stations have elevators and escalators, so it should be relatively pain free. At 1.70 euro per person, quite a bargain as well.

Metro Line 14 is your best bet. You should have plenty of time to pick up some snacks, and maybe do some shopping, at St. Lazare for your trip to Bayeux.
