Paris Tour by Vintage 2CV Car

Hey all,

My sister and I are very interested in taking a night tour of Paris with 4roues sous 1parapluie in a vintage 2CV car. Rick Steves mentions this tour company in his books and television show, and we thought it would be a cool idea. I mean, when else will we get to ride around Paris in the night in a cute vintage car?!

Has anyone taken a 2CV tour of Paris? What company did you choose and what was your experience like? Any suggestions or advice are welcome!

Thanks,
Esmeralda

I've been on two tours with this company.
If there are 2 passengers, both sit in the back seat. There are virtually no shock absorbers - the cars are "cute", but your behind will be bruised - and it is very cramped if you are tall or a little overweight.
If it rains, the top won't be down, so you won't see too much besides traffic.
The company does allow you to get out to take photos, though.

I don't know if there is more than one but I know of the company run by the firefighters. I know a couple that did it. Wife loved it and thought her driver was adorable. Husband, who is about 6' 4" said "never again" because he was so uncomfortable though I do think he might be a tiny bit jealous because of how much his wife talks about the driver, who was supposedly handsome and charming "like firefighters can be" (her words).
