Paris to Rouen train

I love to plan trip by researching on my own, but.....
We are two going from Paris to Rouen and back but getting confused in the process.
Any recommendations for direct route and line and/or carrier?
Doing this December 2 to Rouen and returning to Paris the 7th.
Really appreciate any input.

SNCF site shows trains from Gare St Lazare to Rouen almost every half hour all day long. 2nd class tickets from 20-53 euros. The rides are about 1 1/2 hours long. I just put in a date of June 24 to search. Schedules for December weren't available yet, as far as I could see. There are no alternate carriers or train stations. Gare St. Lazare is the station that heads west to Rouen. Use the SNCF website. SNCF is the French train system. They are NOMAD (Normandie network) trains, under SNCF. You should be able to buy them walk-up, or reserve closer to the day. (I could be wrong on the last part.) I think of these as commuter trains.
Likewise on return trip.
