Paris to MSM on 14 July

Hello,

I am thinking of heading to MSM from Paris on 14 July, probably around noon This would involve a metro ride from my hotel near the Rue Cler to Paris Montparnasse Vaugirard, then a change in Granville (or Rennes, if I take an earlier or later train--the Granville change suits my schedule best) for Pontorson. I know the metro runs in some places on 14 July, but am I running the risk of cancelled routes in Paris or elsewhere?

I have only driven to MSM, never taken public transportation from Paris and never on 14 July.
I do know that the train doesn't take you all the way to MSM. And the question for you to answer is whether the buses from the last train stop to the Mont are going to operate on Bastille Day. That would be a long way to go only to get stuck at the end.
