We are flying from St. Louis Mo to Paris and want to spend a day or two in Paris and then go to the louvre valley and back to Paris to home St. Louis

How many nights is your trip in total? You might want to travel by train to the Loire Valley upon arrival (Amboise, for instance), see what you want to see, then go to Paris and spend the rest of the time there, rather than breaking up your Paris time.

We would like to travel about 8 days. Excuse my spelling. We would like to spend a day or two in Paris and visit wine country in the Loire Valley. The only reason I suggested back to Paris was for resting up before traveling home.

Love Amboise……stay there and tour the chateaus……a rental car helps tremendously in Amboise to see these beautiful places……then train back to Paris.

Does your company plan this trip and does it include air travel, train to and from Louire valley, rental car while there and suggests for both Paris and the Valley?

The Rick Steves company offers tours, which you can see listed on this website, but not custom tours, of the sort you’re asking about. Their 11-day Paris and the Heart of France tour, the Loire to the South of France tour, and the My Way France tour all include the Loire Valley, among other places. None of the tours include flights from where you live - that’s up to you to arrange.
