Paris to Dublin - Airport Arrival time

I'm flying out of Paris (I think CDG, haven't purchased the tickets yet) to Dublin. How early do I need to be at the airport? They say international flights require 3 hours early arrival but is that the case from Paris to Dublin? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Paris to Dublin is within the Eurozone so it's simpler than a flight to/from the USA. If you're an American or other non-European citizen, then you need to go through passport control for non-Europeans, but it is pretty simple. However, I always recommend erring on the side of extra time in the airport because you never know if some tieup will cause everything to slow down.

If you're flying back to the USA out of Dublin or Shannon, be aware that you must go through "pre-clearance" at the airport, and this takes extra time. If you know what you're doing and the kiosks work properly, it's a matter of about 20-30 minutes. If it's your first time and/or there are a lot of people ahead of you, it could be an hour.

We flew from Paris CDG to Dublin on May 22, 2018, and arrived at the airport two hours before the scheduled departure time. Everything worked out OK.

It is basically a domestic flight. Two hours should cover it.

For internal flights, which this is, check-in opens two hours before. If you arrive before, you’ll be asked to stand aside and wait while they take care of passengers on earlier flights.
