We are driving from Orly Airport to Chamonix after a week in Paris. What would be a recommendation for a must see stop along the way?

You could easily spend a week stopping at great places along the way. What kind of sight do you want to see? A winery? A quaint village? A cathedral, a chateau?

Thank you for your response. More interested in the quint village or Chateau scenario. Although, the winery may have been a nice choice, we are traveling with teenagers.

I don't have any specific ideas. The area is "littered" with quaint villages and a few chateaux and abbeys as well. Maybe this "bump" will get more responses. I'm also interested because I'm spending a few days in the vicinity next month.
