Paris to CDG shuttle

We just returned from Paris and had great success hiring a Super Shuttle van to pick us up at our apartment and take us to the airport. We have used Super Shuttle at home in the US, but we hadn't heard about using it abroad. We signed up online 2 days before our flights. We used the shared ride option for 4 of us. It cost 74 euros, and we were the second of 3 parties picked up. The van arrived right on time. We would use Super Shuttle again.

A taxi almost certainly would have cost less, and you wouldn't have had to travel with other parties, nor pick anyone else up on the way. With four people, you'll almost always do better with a taxi.

We used Inter Service Prestige for a private shuttle to the airport from our apartment at a cost of 50 euros. They dropped us off right at Terminal 2A. We would use them again.

We have never paid more than 60 Euro with a cab and the second advantage is that unlike shuttles you are not likely to get stiffed. While you had a great experience -- and that is excellent, you still paid out the nose for a shared service that has a reputation of being unreliable. There are numerous reports on line of people whose arranged shuttle doesn't pick them up, keeps their money and claims 'we were there and you weren't.' This kind of error on a trip TO the airport can mean a missed plane as it is not always possible to get a cab at the last minute for an airport run.
