We are traveling from Paris to Beaune and back, can we take a train to Beaune? If we rent a car what would be good rental company? Can we rent a car in Beaune?

When we visited Beaunne, we trained from Paris to Dijon. Then we rented a car mat the train station. Loved having the car to drive around the area. Returned the car to the train station. Easy peasy.
Our B&B in Beaunne had free parking and was walking distance to all the sights in town. We used the car to visit other wineries and sights near Beaunne.
Have fun. It is a beautiful area.

It’s always easier and faster to travel by TGV in France. If you need to rent a car, you can take a TGV to Dijon and rent a car there. Or you could change to a local train from Dijon to Beaune.

Agree with the suggestions to take the TGV train to Dijon, and then rent a car there for use while you are in Beaune. A lot less hassle than renting in Paris and driving in and out of Paris.
