We are packing for our trip that starts this week, on the 11-day Paris & the Heart of France. It says to take shower shoes; that's ok, but our bags are pretty full already and we wonder if needed. Do we share bathrooms on this trip or do we have our own bath/shower at each hotel. Thank you!

I usually take flip flops that I can use in the shower if need be. In April on PHOF there was no need. I have not had need for them for ages and had been just using them for hotel room floors, anywhere. I don’t think you will miss them.

This is not a tour where you might have to share a bathroom. The way to tell is to go to the tour description page and click on Physical Demands. For this awesome tour, sharing a bathroom is not listed:

For an example where there might be shared baths, the 21 Day Best of Europe is one of the few. I see this is still a possibility on the 2025 tours but it has been removed for the 2026 tours.

Have a terrific time, don't worry about the showers! This tour is really, really excellent. You see so many different things on it.

Thank you so much!! We have 21 days of 'stuff' in two carry-on size bags and removing those water shoes will be a big help!
