We will be joining the Paris & Heart of France tour in April...our 8th RS tour.
For anyone who has recently done this tour, please confirm in what city did you spend the 2 nights on Day 5 and 6. The itinerary states only “ sleep in the Loire Valley 2 nights”. Of course, we will receive our hotel list around the 20th of March but would love to know in advance for some free-time planning. On this tour we are traveling with 2 additional couples so we have found making reservations in advance for 6 is extremely helpful.

We stayed in Amboise, a charming town, with some great restaurants. A nice town to walk around in. My tour was in October 2014. You will love it! This was my first RS tour, I’ve been on 6 now.

In Amboise, my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal last month at Les Arpents.
If looking for steak cooked on a grill downstairs in the restaurant, Le Parvis is good.
Both are right in the central area of downtown.
