Quick question- When using a taxi from CDG to Latin Quarter (or anywhere really) - do you need to pay in cash, or do the cabs accept credit card? Want to be prepared to have enough cash on hand when arriving.
Thanks !

I have always paid in cash. 50 euros to the Right Bank, 55 euros to the Left Bank, for up to 4 people plus luggage. Tip not required. There are ATMS at CDG, but I like to get some euros before I leave home just in case I might have a problem with my ATM card upon arrival.
I've never tried to pay with a credit card. I understand some taxis accept them, but perhaps not all, and I know when I have used a credit card to pay a driver in the US, they aren't wild about accepting them.
Be sure to go to the official taxi rank. Don't accept a ride from anyone who approaches you in or outside the terminal.
Always plan on paying cash. If you can use a card and save your cash supply - fine. You just cannot always count on a cc be accepted.
Many cabs will accept a card, but you should ask that question of the driver before getting in the cab.
I would want to have the cash in pocket even if I plan/hope to use a credit card
Heard too many times the card machine is not working right now and similar things as drivers most anywhere in the world don't like taking credit cards.
I agree with the above.
Ask before you get in a taxi.
And equip yourself with euros if the machine is not working.
