Paris stay for family of 3

We are thrilled to be going to France in the end of April and will be in Paris for 6 days. My husband and I are taking my adult niece and are looking for perhaps connected rooms in the 6th arrondissement. My husband has some problems with mobility, so we are happy to be close to some sites, cafes and shopping. We are looking for a Parisian type hotel with elevators and a fairly mid range budget. Any suggestions?

Can you please give a nightly budget in euros per room? Or at least a range? "Mid range" can mean different things to different people.

You can get very small but very clean rooms in Hotel Mistral (rue Cels) w/elevator in the 14th, a short walk from the 6th, conveniently located near Montparnasse, for less than 200 euros/ night. Lots of shopping/restos to be had nearby on rue Daguerre, not to mention on the boulevards.

Last May, I stayed at Hôtel du Levant in the 5th. Really liked it and would recommend.

I am an older woman with mobility issues and was able to walk to many attractions / sites. The Cluny is right up the street and Notre Dame around the corner. Wonderful public transportation.

Lots of cafes. I am not a shopper so I can not speak about shopping.

There is an elevator but a very small elevator. Only one person with luggage can fit in or two without luggage. Three people will not be able to fit in but it still might be workable.

The hotel is maybe 4 or 5 stories and there are rooms on the first floor. I think that I was on the 3rd.

Staff is as nice as can be. Hotel is very nice, very pretty and endearing.

Thanks for the replies. And for the question of “mid-range”, I’m sorry to be so vague. I guess I’m hoping to find a room for 300-350 euros….does that sound reasonable?

Take a look at the Hotel Odeon Saint Germain on Rue St Sulpice.
