Paris St. Lazare to Paris Gare de Lyon

I am ready to buy train tickets, but need some advice...

We will be arriving at Paris St. Lazare at 2:00 p.m. and then need to get to Paris Gare de Lyon for our train that leaves at 3:00 p.m. headed for Switzerland. We were in Paris once before and the traffic was very heavy. Is one hour enough time to get between train stations, find our train, etc.? Is there a shuttle? What is the quickest way to get between the two stations? We got a great rate. Our tickets are not flexible.

Quickest way is with the No 14 Metro line. It has elevators and escalators. The actual train time is 9 minutes. Getting to and from the platforms is another 9 minutes. That time of day, trains are every 6 minutes. Cost is 1.90 EUR per person.

Sam, how close is the Metro to the train station. We've never been on the Metro.

The walks are fairly long, just keep following signage. There is some kind of sign every 50 feet or so and always anywhere you need to turn. Metro and/or walking are my main way to get around Paris but it can be difficult if you have a lot of luggage or issues climbing or descending stairs.

The metro will be way faster than anything above ground on the roads. And the line 14 is the fastest of them all, you're in luck.
