Paris Secret Food Tour

We will be in Paris for 8 days in June (June 15- 22) and one of the main things we want to schedule is the Paris Secret Food Tour of Montmartre. We would like to arrange for it on the front end of our time in Paris so either Saturday or Monday would be best although Tuesday is a possibility. We also have the opportunity to sign up for a late morning or late afternoon tour. Is there a day of the week and time of day that would be the absolute best time? I'm assuming late afternoon but not sure about the day of week -- if some days more stores are closed.

We did this exact tour last June. We Loved it! Be prepared for a lot of food and wine. They do it a bit different than some food tours we've taken. We walk all thru the neighborhood, with just a little sample of things (although it feels like a lot) then we went back to a wine distributor and sat down while the guide now prepares the great food that was purchased along the way and we eat and drink for another hour or so. We did our tour in late morning and met some really nice people that we sticked together to visit the cathedral and have another drink while admiring the neighborhood (nice cafe at the base of the stairs)
Enjoy!!!!

We’ve taken multiple food tours but not this one. Having said that, we find a tour that includes lots of food, wine and walking pretty much kills the day. Not everyone would agree, but the few morning tours we did, did us in. This company offers a tour at 6 PM. I think that is perfect. You can sightsee during the day, rest up, then do your tour which will supplant dinner for that night.

My sister and I just did their Marais tour on a Sunday earlier this month-it was fabulous! I'm sure the Montmartre tour would be, as well. We needn't have had breakfast no did we need lunch or dinner. We began our tour with coffee and croissants and ended with specialty handmade chocolates with a lot of special eats and drinks in between. We took it on a Sunday, a perfect time to explore this district, and I cannot say enough good things about our guide (a young woman who grew up in the neighborhood), the food and the historical and personal perspective she provided. It was just terrific and a whole lot of fun. We had about 12 folks on the tour, plus the guide. For this particular tour, we met at 10am and were finished by about 2pm or so (again, on a Sunday). I'm sorry I can't provide any specific information about the Montmarte tour on the days you want to take it but hopefully, this might give you an idea of what you might expect for the one you're looking at?
