Paris Roubaix - suggestions

Anyone been to watch the paris roubaix?

I'm starting to figure out a visit this year and if you have suggestions I'm all ears.
I'm driving myself and would like to see 3 sections of the race, I think it's do-able but If you have opposing views please chime in.

I know nothing about the Paris-Roubaix event itself but I do know that Roubaix is quite charming and I love the LA PISCINE (the swiming pool) museum. There's also a great Mercure Hotel downtown.
