Hi - we are traveling to Paris for Christmas. Does anyone have any recommendations for dinner on Christmas Eve and Day? We have two kids age 12& 14. Any place you have been and would recommend? Thank you!
Luckily in Paris you have pas mal de choix! I spent Christmas there last year and have done it a few other times as well. Christmas Eve night I went out for Indian food and Christmas day I had lunch at Georges on top of the Centre Pompidou (was lovely) and for dinner I treated myself to Bustronome. Bustronome was a lovely way to celebrate Christmas. The food was surprisingly delicious and the Christmas lights in Paris were magical. I definitely suggest Bustronome. Its costly, but worth it, And the kids will love it too,
Use the website THE FORK to help you make reservations. Some chains will most certainly be open Christmas Eve dinner (Hippopotamus, Leon de Bruxelles)
Chez Jenny. It's not fancy but it is very family friendly.
Reservations made on line for family run restaurant on the island http://www.aubergedelareineblanche.fr/en/
We ate there last Spring -- found in RS book.
You have to reserve - probably a day or two ahead. Some restaurants will be closed over the holidays.
Hippopotamus is normally open, and has a family-friendly menu.
If your kids like mussels, Leon de Bruxelles is open.
Chez Jenny - I don't know if your kids like sauerkraut...
