Looking for a dinner restaurant in Paris with a nice view of the city. Suggestions? It will be around June 17-19.
Budget would be helpful for getting good suggestions. Take a look at Les Ombres which is in the Musee Quai Branly. I've stayed at the Hotel Terrasse in Montmartre and their terrace restaurant has great views but I would probably not go there if I were not staying nearby. I have heard that 58 Tour Eiffel also has great views but I have not been there.
The view from the Eiffel Tower is pretty nice.
There are two choices, the Jules Verne and the 58;
I can vouch for the standard menus - very good presentations and quality, prices are insane. Chances of Alain Ducasse being there are comparable to winning the lottery.
I love the view from La Tour d'Argent, but it is pricey for dinner -- more manageable at lunch:

We once had lunch as Les Ombres (it might be too late to get a dinner reservation, but you could try lunch if so) and the view is wonderful.
there's a restaurant up on the roof of the Hotel Raphael - again, it's pricey as anything like this is going to be.
