Michelin starred L'Astrance pops to mind (https://parisbymouth.com/lastrance/). I love having lunch at A Table de Hugo Desnoyer on rue du Doctor Blanche. When I eat there, I eat only meal that day. Check out this link for a discussion of places to eat in the 16th: http://hipparis.com/2014/07/30/exploring-the-museums-food-and-shops-of-paris-chic-16th-arrondissement/. Most, if not all, of these places are in the Passy neighborhood of the 16th. If you are over near Porte Maillot, take a look at Auberge Dab (very good, traditional French brasserie) which we only found out about because my son was fascinated by the name and wanted to dab in front of a place called Auberge Dab.

Do you have a specific budget or area of the 16th or are you willing to go to any part of the 16th? It's a relatively big arrondissement and depending on where you are in the 16th, a great place in the 17th or the 8th or even the 15th could be more convenient. For example, if you are on the side of the 16th near Champs Elysees, you may want to look at the restaurants across the Champs in the 17th, such as Le Crabe Marteau on rue des Acacias..

It all depends on what you want - and like - to eat, and what your budget is. Most of the restaurants in the 16th will be expensive.

Why restrict yourselves to just the 16th arrondissement?
A short taxi or Metro ride will let you off at any number of good restaurants.
Carette is good for pastries - at Trocadero
Le Casse-noisette in the 15th
Bistrot Belhara in the 7th
Chez Dumonet in the 6th
La Cantine du Troquet - several locations...

We are not restricted to the 16th and will certainly get out to other areas. This is a neighborhood we aren't familiar with from past visits to Paris. We are staying between the Trocadero and Boissiere metro stops and are willing to go further for a good meal but curious about good places in our arrondissment. We are most interested in French food and in all budget ranges as we will have both lunch and dinner out each day.

Thank you!

You might find that having both lunch and dinner each day will be too much food for you - especially if you have a "degustation menu" or more than 3 courses.
Antoine for fish
Hugo Desnoyer for beef
Prunier for caviar and oysters
L'Abeille if you're near the Shangri-La
