we are here for a week. we just had a wonderful experience and le coup chou. Can anyone recommend a memoorable restaurant in the area or anywhere in paris?
Take a look at the Michelin Red guide, it's on-line and conveniently arranged by arrondissement. They've been rating Paris restaurants for a hundred years.
Charlie, in the same area there is Les Papilles on rue Gay-Lussac. Great spot, they serve a tasting menu with just one or two choices. You'd want to stop by and reserve ahead.
If you get across the river we loved Bistro Paul Bert in the 11th on rue Paul Bert. You can call to reserve.
Have fun!
6 Paul Bert, I believe, is the restaurant a few doors down from "Bistrot Paul Bert" - it was the splurge our trip (though not crazy) and worth the money
