Paris: Pre-arranged Car Service from train station to hotel and from hotel to CDG

Our group of 4 adults is taking the Eurostar from London to Paris in a few weeks (after ten days in England); looking for a car service or prearranged taxi to take us from Gare du Nord to our hotel in the 11th arr. We also need a driver to take us from the hotel to CDG on our departure day for an 8:30 am flight. Thank you!

For the trip from the hotel to CDG, on the day before departure ask the front desk to arrange for a taxi on the morning of your departure. The taxi will be a fixed rate (53€) plus a fee of 7€ for the reservation. Or the hotel may use a car service which will be at least as good and reliable as anything that we suggest and will usually cost more than the taxi. For the trip from Gare du Nord, I highly recommend https://www.sncf-connect.com/en-en/train/train-services/mon-chauffeur.

Contact your hotel to arrange your transportation or, at least, give you recommendations.

Mon chauffeur from the stations is a good and it's already been mentioned above. Here's another option that you might like for the hotel to airport leg (or stations, they do both).
G7 does pre-arranged bookings with meet and greet to and from stations and airports. They are the largest taxi company in Paris. Here is the booking page for the meet and greet service:
https://accueil.g7booking.com/en/

I use them for meet and greet service from CDG when I have luggage and want a van. (they do cars, vans, and so on I just use them for vans).

My wife called our hotel before we arrived and they had a car and driver waiting for us at the airport, it was damn convenient

The problem at Gare du Nord is not finding a taxi, the problem is finding an honest one.

Gare du Nord is notorious for scammy taxi drivers -- someone reported in a travel site the other day that they were charged the flat fee from the airport and then the guy ran the meter on top of that so they were paying around 90 Euro for what should have been maybe a 15 Euro ride. The first time naive traveler can get taken that way.

WE once had a cabbie at CDG try to run the meter but as soon as I indicted I knew the fixed fee he switched to that -- we have used taxis to and from CDG many times -- 6 times this past year -- and only had that one slight hiccup, but I think if I were arriving at Nord with luggage, I'd be very careful and can see pre-arranging. At CDG, just walk to the taxi line and don't worry about timing or late planes or if immigration is slow.

We will definitely check out G7 for our arrival at Gare du Nord in August.
We got scammed by a driver in 2019 due to lack of preparation.
Thank you!

Last month we used Service Chauffeur Paris to take 5 of us from airport to Paris hotel, then 3.5 weeks later, Paris hotel to airport. They were very professional, gentleman in suit was waiting with a sign for us right outside customs. We booked online and Myriam communicated with us to confirm the booking. I would use them again.

SoCalDoc -- so how much did this cost you? That is the interesting information. Taxis are reliable; hire cars add no value -- so do they add cost?

"We will definitely check out G7 for our arrival at Gare du Nord in August."

Download the G7 app before you leave home. I usually put in a CC to the app when I am a day or two out from travel and then delete the card when I'm back home. I'm not very tech-savvy so that makes me feel like I've done something positive. You can also add a small amount for a tip to the driver automatically. I like how the app tells you the make of car and license tag so you can make sure you are in the right rig.

I also move that app to the home page of my phone instead of it being 3 or 4 pages back, lol. Just easier to find that way!

$125 each way? Yikes, that's almost 2x the price of a cab...

5 people from left bank to CDG: 61 Euros; 5 people from right bank to CDG 57 Euros. If you book the cab the night before for the return to CDG which is what we always do with G7, it is an additional 7 Euro to reserve. No extra fee when just grabbing a cab from the official cab stand at CDG.

There are many options. Certainly a prebooked cab is a good option. Several of our RS travelers for the Paris HOF tour took the RER train. I've done private chauffeurs many times and I appreciate the driver waiting right outside the gate and a very comfortable vehicle. But they are not the most inexpensive and may not work for many.
