Last time we were in Paris (2018) there were pop-up restaurants, beer gardens and wine bars on the pedestrian walkway next to the Seine. My mother was there last April and said it was not open. Does this still exist? We are heading to Paris in a week and hoping so as it was a great place to stop after an afternoon of wandering.

Which part of the Seine? In my 3 trips (21, 23, and this March) I didnt' see any of this, but not sure where she was.
This is usually August for the Paris Plage, I think? which is not happening this year owing to the Olympics.
It was by Notre Dame heading North. We were there in April and it was there through the summer. I heard the floods a few years later maybe put an end to it.
We were there 3 weeks ago and saw nothing like that. It was a hot spring weekend when we arrived and absolutely everyone was out of hibernation enjoying the weather that weekend, but we saw nothing as you describe.
