Paris planning version 3 — what to combine with Montemarte

IF we tweak our Paris plans to spend Tuesday morning in Montemarte, what one thing could we do in the afternoon? The Carnevalet Museum makes sense in that it’s a relatively small museum but it seems very far away so probably not a good choice. Since we’ll have to return to our Left Bank hotel, maybe consider a late afternoon river cruise? Other ideas?
Thanks!

Ruth, sorry I haven't kept up on what your other plans are so not sure what else to suggest. But if you want to go to the Carnavalet Museum it's not difficult to get there. There are a couple metro stops walking distance from Sacre Coeur - with one change you can be at the museum in under 30 minutes (use CityMapper to plot out the routes). Depending on the location of your hotel it might be easier to just walk back from the museum.

Ruth, are you using the Passion Monuments Pass?

You could walk or take the metro from Abbesses station to the Hotel de la Marine, included with your subscription. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
The audio guide was very good and there are wonderful views overlooking the Place de la Concorde from the loggia.

Afterwards a stroll through the Tuileries.
