Paris, places to work out

CMG has locations all over Paris. I and my husband have worked out at the one in Montparnasse (https://www.cmgsportsclub.com/) a couple of times while staying in the 6th and we are now members of the one at Bastille. One thing to mention is that some locations are not open early -- the location in Montparnasse opens at 8 on weekdays and Saturdays and 9 on Sundays. My husband has worked out here https://www.healthcity.fr/club/paris-5eme-st-germain-des-pres which is in the 5th. We were staying a hotel on Rue Dauphine in the 6th when he worked out there. Day passes are 30€ to 35€ at these place.

Generally, yes. I have not been to a gym in Paris where everyone who works there spoke no English. I think that would be especially true in the 5th and 6th arrondissement where there are a lot of hotels and English-speaking visitors. If the person at the front desk does not speak English, someone else working there probably does. My husband speaks about 2 words of French and has never had a problem when he has gone to "join" a gym and I was not with him. In fact, he did the entire process for joining CMG Bastille without me.
