We're taking grandchildren, 7 & 9 yrs, to Paris, but cannot find Passe Navigo prices for them. The weekly pass for adults, good from Monday through Sunday, costs 34,40 euro and is good for unlimited bus, metro, RER, and suburban train travel in zones 1 to5 (includes airports, Disneyland, Versailles, many day-trip destinations). Adult prices for zones 1 and 2 are 2,40 euro.
A single t+ adult ticket for zones 1-2 costs €1.70, not €2.40. Children pay the adult price for a single ticket. A carnet of ten adult tickets costs €13.70. A carnet of ten children's tickets costs €6.95.
There is no children's passe Navigo Decouverte. You could buy 5-day, zone 1-5 children's Paris Visite passes for €29.75. They are good for any five consecutive days.
Thanks Tim, for the reply. So, apparently no discount for kids, other than the carnet of ten children's tickets. The last sentence should read: "Adult price for the weekly Passe Navigo to zones 1 & 2 is 20,40 euro.
You're welcome, Dave.
There is one other pass that your grandchildren could use. It's a Ticket Jeunes, a one-day pass for persons under 26 that is good for either Saturdays or Sundays. A zone 1-3 pass costs €3.75 and a zone 1-5 pass costs €8.10.
Tim, wasn't aware of "Ticket jeunes." I assume the zones 1-5 option covers RER/RoissyBus from/to CDG. Will ask for this, and thanks for the tip!
Dave,
I'm sorry, but the Ticket Jeunes is NOT good for airport services including the Roissybus and the section of the RER B line from CDG into Paris.
