My husband and I will be in Paris in April for 2 weeks. We love to walk. What is the best app to get directions from one place to another? Also, does the Roissy bus from CDG go to Ile Saint Louis? We don't want to take a cab but could do RER??

RoissyBus only makes one stop in Paris: Paris-Opéra (corner of rue Scribe and rue Auber), which is over 3km from Île Saint-Louis

In Paris I also do a good deal of walking depending on the weather, ie, the heat and the cold in the summer, as it was that way in June 2024.
Re: transport: I get around a lot by using a combination of the Metro provided that particular line or car is not a sardine can and the buses, which never are sardine cans. I don't do ride sharing at all , not an option, or resort to using taxis.
From CDG I take the RER but this last experience in Sept caused me to think given the crowds (it was rush hour, ie squished ) if the RER was still a viable option to/from Paris Nord.

While Roissy bus doesn't stop anywhere near St. Louis but rather at Opera, the RER B stop at St. Michel/NOTRE DAME is close =. it is a short walk from there to St. louis
