I see that the weekly Navigo pass available by zones "allows unlimited travel in the selected zones" and "only in selected zones."
I'll be staying in Zone 1 and doubt I'll be traveling outside it.
But if I select a Zones 2-3 pass, is it valid for Zone 1?
The All Zones pass specifies "Zone 1" and is only 2 euros more, but a euro saved is a euro earned.
The French are usually pretty logical, but this description/outline is confusing to me.
Has anyone used a Navigo pass in Zone 1?
Thanks.
Paris is indeed in zone 1 and if you want coverage in Paris, the zone selected must state zone 1 as in zone 1-5 which covers the entire Ile de France. Zone 2-3 passes do not include Paris.
when you add the weekly pass on the. machine you must select zones 1-5 to get Paris. All passes that include Paris are for all 5 zones. A pass 2-3 zone is not valid for 1 -- those are designed for people who live in outer zones and commute only in those zones. There is also a pass valid only for zone 4-5.
Thanks. Maybe I was expecting a discount for using only Zone 1, but I guess that's not the way it works.
Appreciate the advice.
Thanks. Appreciate the info.
the pass is so cheap that a discount wouldn't make much sense.
