My wife and I are interested in any recommendations to attend any cafes in Paris with live music. Not interested in a review like the Follies. Just a nightclub with French music performers. Suggestions please.

Caveau de la Huchette is supposed to be the oldest and most famous jazz club in Paris, even has roots in French history. I haven't been there yet, but am planning to go when I am in Paris in May.
