Paris Museum Pass - Pick Up/Delivery

Purchasing a museum pass for our upcoming trip and would like to have it dropped off at our hotel. Has anyone had experience with this option? I'm a little worried that it won't get delivered...

Why don't you just buy it at the airport when you arrive? That would be easiest.

I second the vote for buying it at the airport or in person…several years ago, I ordered ours online and had them mailed to my house, but failed to double check the package when it arrived. I just threw the envelope in our suitcase - when we arrived in Paris and opened the package, there was only one pass instead of the two I had ordered. We ended up buying another one at the Cluny museum which was super easy and took all of three minutes:)

Thanks for the input. Sounds like we should just plan to purchase on arrival.

Agree with Deanna about buying the pass at a museum -- and the Cluny is a great option since it's well worth seeing AND the line was non-existent when we did it. No reason to pay extra for delivery.

I used the hotel drop off option for my last trip and it worked out great, for me it was worth the extra price. On a previous trip I had problems getting the obtaining the two day pass at the airport and the first museum I visited (Rodin); they only had other denominations. So to avoid the hassle and stress, picking it up at the hotel was a no brainer.

Laura B makes a good point about picking up the pass at a "less popular" museum like the Cluny (I loved the Cluny, by the way!). We bought our 6-day passes at the Pompidou, the first museum we visited. No line and very convenient.
