Paris Museum Pass Hacks?

Rick's guide book says "While the Museum Pass now carries a one-visit-per-museum restriction, the Louvre's three wings count as different museums for the sake of the pass — so you can visit the Louvre three times on one pass, provided you enter through a different wing each time." Has anyone successfully made more than one visit to the Louvre using the Paris Museum Pass? If so, please advise how? (shopping mall, pyramid...?).

Another Q on booking timed entry tickets at the Louvre, it didn't ask for my paris museum pass when I booked them. Is that right? I read multiple times that pass number is required to make timed entry tickets. Is it packed during Thanksgivings? Thanks all! I am excited for my first trip ever to Europe this Thanksgiving.

With the timed entry now, you'd have to try and make 3 separate reservations for your try at working this. I just looked at the ticketing website and see they now have a separate section for getting a timed entry for Paris Museum Pass holders which has not been the case in the past. I went as far as clicking "confirm" reservation so if you got that far with a time you picked I think you're OK. Their website may have caught up with reality.

I have NOT tried it but they do scan your ticket for entry to each wing. Are you getting a 6-day pass?

I'd also call your attention to the fact that the passes are actually a certain number of hours....48/72/96 so it is possible for you to actually get parts of 3 days, 5 days or 7 days. If you enter say at noon on day 1 you can still enter before that time on the day after ...so day 3 if you have a 2-day pass.

"Thanksgiving" has no meaning in Paris. It's just a day of the week.

So, this is a little shady and in my defense I didn't realize that I had done it until after the fact. I had bought a 4 day Paris Museum Pass and the first time that I used it was around 10:30 in the morning. I was aware of the fact that the pass should work for a solid 96 hours, so on what was the 5th day I used it to get into the Cluny Museum at 9:30am. That is a legitimate way to use the pass. After the Cluny I wandered around and found myself in front of the Archeological Crypt on Île de la Cité. It was probably after 10:30 am at that point, but I can't be certain. At any rate, I did use my pass and there were no problems. I didn't push my luck and try to keep using it. But I will say that the usage time limits on the Paris Museum Pass are not strictly enforced.

When I went to the Louvre, my reservation was scanned as I entered. They never asked for my Paris Museum Pass.
