Paris Museum Pass?

Is a 2 day museum pass good for 2 24 hour days or 2 calendar days?

IOW, if I buy a pass at noon on Wednesday is it good until noon on Friday or just Wednesday and Thursday?

Calendar days. So if you buy AND USE noon Wednesday it is good the rest of the day and all day Thursday.
It starts when you fill in the date and show it on entrance.

As Sam said: calendar days. If you activate it anytime on Wed, it's done at the end of the day on Thursday. It's recommended that you do not activate it unless you have the same number of FULL days to use it as the life of the pass. For instance, if you buy a 2-day pass on Wed. but will be in Paris on Thursday and Friday, find free things to do on Wed, and wait to activate the pass until Thursday morning.

The one caution would be to plan itineraries around days which certain most-visited museums are closed (Mondays or Tuesdays).
