Hello
I am finalizing my itinerary and booking for our trip to Paris April 5-14, 2025. We plan on using the Paris Museum Pass as my husband loves museums/history. We will get the 4 day pass so it does not dictate running from place to place just to hit them all. When I priced it out it saves us some money and gives us the option to perhaps see some that are not on our must see list or visit ones that we were "debating".
Regardless when trying to purchase online because of my credit card security (a good thing these days) the purchase would not go through and the site recommended purchasing the pass on arrival in Paris.
The question/concern I have is how soon you recommend booking places that require advance booking? I have already booked Versaille and did not need a museum pass number for that. Does not having the pass until our arrival hinder any booking or cause any issues in your experience?
I like to be as planned as possible but have a mix of scheduled plus spontaneous sight seeing. We want to be able to take in Paris and relax and enjoy the city/culture as much as possible.
Thank you for any advice you may have, as always I appreciate your assistance. I have looked on the forum and not seen this specific question.
Thanks again,
KS
