I am buying the 48 hour pass, probably. We will arrive at Versailles about 47 hours into our pass. The museum police are not going to kick us out after 48 hours correct?

No. They only care that your entry time is within the pass duration. Once you enter you can stay as long as you like.

Your pass has to be scanned at the entrance to Versailles before the 48 hours are up if you’re arriving at 47 hours even with a pass, you might be cutting it a little close there can still be lines you have to go through security first I believe
I’d hate for you to get there and discover you are at 48.10 or something and they said no
