Thank you. Do you know if they will mail the tickets directly to me? It may be too much to go to the tourist office our first day and we want to hit the ground running on our first full day. thx.

Yes, they will mail the pass to you. I forget how long it takes, but maybe a week to two weeks? It also came with a little booklet of things to see and do with the pass.

Clester, you do not have to go to a tourist office to get this pass: just go to one of the lesser-visited attractions (i.e. NOT the Louvre) on the list to buy it. There should be one of those within a short walk of your hotel, and you could do it the evening you arrive if early enough to hit one that's open.

But if you really want to have it shipped (although I'd never pay the 24 euro fee to the U.S.):

You may also purchase it at the airports:

FNAC and other outlets:

I bought the PMP at the airport a few weeks ago, at the tourist information office with a big red circular sign with a lower case "i" on the sign. This was 20 feet from the first ATM machine I found at the airport, about 5 minute walk from the area where I cleared passport control and got my baggage.

I flew Delta. It may be different at other areas of the airport.

Y'all are so helpful and tha k you sooo much. I love this site and trust the advice given on it. I did not know about buying at the airport or small museums. So I purchased on line finally and delivery will be in 4-5 days with a $24 fee. At this point that is fine. Now I understand why going on a tour with Rick would be so easy!
