Does anyone know what the graphic indicating front, middle, and end of the train and the caption "Ou vous placer" on the RATP site means?
I understand the literal translation, but is this advice to board the train in that area? Or just indicating how far along the trip the stop is?
Is this a direction or just random information?
It indicates the best place to stand in the metro according to the connection tunnel and the exit locations on your route. Given that Paris metro trains are short, it does not matter very much!
So it's friendly advice. Those French think of everything. Thank you.
Actually, the app Citymapper has had this feature for years, long before it became available on the RATP´s Bonjour or Mobilité apps. The only reason to use an RATP app over Citymapper, which can be configured for many other cities as well as Paris, is to charge your Navigo cards or use your Samsung phone as a Navigo card.
Thanks. I will take a look.
