Three of us are traveling to Paris and we plan to use public transportation. Carnet de 10 appears to be a good option, can we share that amongst us? We can swipe it three times, each time we plan to use the metro. Also, can we do the same if use the Navigo app on our phone. Thanks
Short answer: no. More than one person can use the card, but not at the same time, for the same entry. Each person has to have their own card or phone. .
Everyone has to have their own Navigo Easy card. Two people cannot share a card. Each person must have their own phone to use a phone app. The entry stile will make an unpleasant buzz if you attempt to swipe the card (or a pass) twice in a row and if you were to be checked for tickets, only one ticket would be recognized and everyone else would be paying a 35 Euro fine on the spot.
The confusion comes because the Easy is not user specific e.g. you can give your card to a friend after you are finished with it and they can use it. But two people cannot use it at the same time.
