Hello again, fellow travelers.
Still in the thick of planning a trip to Paris for mid-December. We would like to visit Marmottan one morning but I noticed that the museum is near the Louis Vuitton Foundation. We are huge fans of Frank Gehry's work so we've decided to add it to the morning's itinerary.
We will be taking a taxi from our hotel and walking from Marmottan. Then walking to from the museum to the foundation through the Bois de Boulogne.
It looks like there are some points of interest near the foundation itself that we can explore. Depending on the December weather and how our knees fare, we're also thinking of walking to the Arc de Triomphe. Might be a bit ambitious for us since we are not walkers. We might need a taxi to get back to our hotel near the Eiffel Tower.
- The Marmottan-LVF walk runs through the Bois de Boulogne. Any recommendations for cafes or lunch spots nearby? Points of interest that might be great for photo ops?
- How easy is it to hail a taxi near the LV Foundation? Are there taxi ranks nearby?
Thanks in advance!
