Paris Left Bank to CDG Sunday Morning

I would like to get an official cab to drive us to CDG Sunday at 9am. I prefer to pay in cash to finish off my paper money I brought.

Will any cab with a green light take me to CDG (can I just waive one down outside our room?) or must such a long drive be booked and paid via the G7 app? Thank you much. You’ve all made our first trip to Europe survivable and pleasurable. Merci.

When returning from our last trip to Paris, we asked our hotel front desk to arrange a taxi to CDG. They had a particular taxi service they regularly used for their guests. We made the request a day, or two, in advance. You should confirm the price in advance, but ours was the normal flat rate fee for a taxi from Left Bank to CDG.

I ask the my hotel to arrange the taxi to the airport. There is a set additional fee for pre arranging, I think 7 or 9 Euros. They will be happy for cash.

It is wise to book a cab two days before your travel; sometimes cabs are not available the day before. I had to scramble to find transport once because of this; two days out it is smooth. I call the G7 English speaking line and have never had a fail in many many trips except that time they didn't have cabs when calling the night before. Years ago when I stayed in hotels, the hotel desk told me the same thing -- they should book two days ahead as it was hard to get a cab in the morning. I would never count on hailing a cab for a high stakes ride like that. it is 7 Euro to book and 65 from the left bank. I always pay cash.

I have just returned from Paris on a Sunday morning flight.
I asked two different receptionists at my hotel on Blvd St Germain if I needed to book a taxi in advance for a Sunday morning and they said no, we’ll call you one on the Sunday morning.
I was a bit nervous ….
They called the taxi at 05:45 , it arrived at 06:00 and the receptionist confirmed the price with the driver: E72 (it included the call-out fee).
I was at CDG by 06:30.
It was a G7 taxi….a huge 5 or 6 passenger van! :)
I paid by credit card.

You may want to book in advance as you are going a bit later.
The traffic was really busy on my day , even that early in the morning.

I would absolutely follow Janet's advice to book two days in advance.

If I am on a trip where I’ll be taking Bolt or a taxi out to the airport, that is the rule I follow.

Same as some others, I ask the hotel front desk to take care of the booking.
