Paris, late May, lodging???

Good morning,

Thank you everyone for your responses and suggestions. I saw another posting which recommended astotel and was able to book there. I was looking for an apartment hotel earlier, but we changed our plans.
4 days in Paris…late May, looking for lodging that will not break the bank and is not too too far away ( no car) from everything. Kitchen appreciated but not essential. Where, what neighborhoods or arrondissements to stay away from…and any other suggestions are welcome!

You will most likely find high prices and low availability as the city gears up for the summer Olympics. Preparations will be under way and the advance teams starting to arrive. Good luck!

We stayed at the Opera Alba Hotel in the 9th last yeae and loved it. I would look at their site to see what rooms they may still have. The hotel is in a fun safe neighborhood. We often walked to the main sites or took the nearby bus.

What is your budget? Breaking the bank means different things to different people. I have no idea what it means to you. That being said, Paris looks like it will be even more expensive than usual this coming late spring and summer. What are your travel dates?
